The readmission requirement in paragraph 1 does not apply when: the terms of readmission in an expedited procedure; and – documents, certificates and invoices of any kind (e.g.B hotel bills, appointments for doctors/dentists, tickets for public/private institutions, 2011/118/EU: Council decision of 18 January 2011 on the conclusion of the agreement between the European Union and Georgia on the readmission of persons in irregular residence The contracting parties note that this agreement does not apply to the territory of the Kingdom of Denmark or to the nationals of the Kingdom of Denmark. In these circumstances, Georgia and the Kingdom of Denmark should enter into a readmission agreement on the same terms as this agreement. In 2017, a framework agreement on operational and strategic cooperation was signed with the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol), making Georgia an operational partner of Europol. In accordance with the memorandums signed in 2018 on the basis of the framework agreement, the Ministry of the Interior has sent its liaison officer to Europol since September 2018 and, since April 2019, a secure communication channel for the exchange of information between the Ministry of the Interior and Europol has been implemented. 4. After consultation or, if necessary, after the deadlines in paragraph 2 have expired, the person concerned is transferred within three months. At the request of the requesting state, this period may be extended for persons who use legal or practical barriers. Without prejudice to the right of the competent authorities to recover from the person or third parties the costs related to readmission, all transport costs related to readmission and transit operations under this agreement are covered by the requesting State up to the border of the final destination state. The provisions of this agreement prevail over the provisions of a bilateral agreement or a readmission agreement for persons who are without authorization and who, in accordance with Article 19, have been or can be concluded between certain Member States and Georgia, to the extent that the provisions of that agreement are incompatible with those of that agreement.
