Topics covered are: – climate change and the environment, – conflict and governance, — education, human development and health, – humanitarian, infrastructure, livelihoods, social development, — procurement and logistics, research, statistics and data. Each thematic area will have 2 lots: – low-value land of up to GBP 3,000,000 to promote a new supplier base and capacity building in priority DFID/HMG countries (Lot 3 1-10 and 21), — a quality lot of 3,000,000 pounds – 12,000,000 LIVES (Lots 11-20 and 22). Note: 1) To be included in the framework agreement, successful organizations must qualify for at least one thematic package; 2) Organizations should bear in mind that they are not required to provide all aspects of the thematic lot (as described in the mandate) to qualify. To qualify, organizations must be able to provide at least one aspect of the thematic lot (as described in the mandate). 3) Organizations should ensure that they review the “framework rules for the awarding of lots” that will be included in the mandate. The final beneficiaries of the services to be provided under the framework agreement include partner governments, civil society and direct beneficiaries. The users of the framework agreement who are entitled to enter into appeal contracts for the final beneficiaries are the British authorities, public authorities and public bodies as well as decentralised administrations. The framework agreement should be used by DFID and at least by the following other ministries: – the Office of Foreign Affairs and community, — Department of International Trade, — Home Office, — Department of Health, Department of Economy, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Department of Food and Rural Affairs, Department of Cultural Media and Sports, Office of National Statistics, Department of Defence, — Revenue and Customs of HM, Department of Education and Pensions, Department of Transport, Scottish Government, Welsh Government.
